Since June 1, 1981, the Fire Pump Co. has focused its expertise on the offshore oil & gas exploration and production industry. Occasionally, we have had the opportunity to provide UL, ULC or FM certified fire pumps as well. A complete list of these projects can be found in the User's List under About Us. In recent years, the Fire Pump Co. has established an alliance with RuhrPumpen, a world-wide innovative and efficient pump technology company. This partnership has allowed us to expand our capabilities to include not only labeled vertical turbine pumps, but a full line of UL & FM certified 250 to 2500 GPM HSC pumps as well. Non-labeled, special application, higher flow-rate (6300 GPM) machines are also available. As a benefit of the recent alliance, the Fire Pump Co. was able to join a set-aside program for small business that qualifies our firm to participate in a wide range of programs funded by the US government. The Fire Pump Co. views this as a great advantage to our clients. It allows our firm to assist all Engineering & Construction contractors, and General contractors associated with these programs, by providing the best equipment available at the lowest capital investment. If the project requires special design packaging, or a metal weather protection enclosure for example, this website will demonstrate our capability and readiness to handle the job, large or small.
