The Fire Pump Co. was started in 1980 as a sole proprietorship with J. D. Gillespie as the proprietor, now retired. In the 22 years the FPCo operated, approximately 80 projects were completed that included 150 vertical turbine pumps, most of which had Byron Jackson bowl assemblies. In an effort to be able to serve my customers I continue to maintain the Fire Pump Co. website to provide a link to the equipment. All of the projects are listed on this website under Users List & Innovations. Each listing includes the original customer's name, job site location, and approximate date. If a specific listing is clicked on, more information is provided so that if the platform was purchased there is a trail to the original equipment provider.
